Intergenerational Working Groups
The YD looks to promote social inclusion among older and younger adults in the Montreal community. Recognizing that many people feel socially isolated in the city, our intergenerational wellness groups (IWGs) provide all ages with the opportunity to lead, share and engage in workshops and activities that are community-oriented, creative or promote holistic well-being.
Workshops are free and facilitated by volunteers. We rely on passionate individuals within the community to come and share their skills and enthusiasm for a particular activity. If you have an idea for a workshop that you would like to facilitate, the YD is there to support you! Contact us at [email protected] if you would like to meet and discuss your project. Or, if you are looking for a friendly community in Montréal and want to come participate in our existing activities, check out our Facebook page or calendar for the monthly schedule. |
